Dr. Daniel Leslie S. Tan, VSU Alumnus, Assumes Role as OIC President
We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Daniel Leslie S. Tan, a distinguished alumnus of Visayas State University (VSU), has been appointed as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) President of the VSU system, effective October 29, 2023.

Meet the 25-year-old Mark Ramirez Brazil from Barangay Cayare in San Miguel, Leyte. He is a living testament that even with a physical disability, this cannot stop anyone from achieving his or her dreams in life.

Engr. Mark Anthony S. Arcayan did not only ace the February 2022 Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination (MELE) but more than that, he also broke records by obtaining the highest rating in the history of this board exam.
DR. EDGARDO E. TULIN
Dr. Edgardo Escuadra Tulin is a university professor, a multi-awarded scientist, one of the most accomplished research administrators in the Philippines, and a leader in science and technology management. He is more popularly known as the 6th President of the Visayas State University system who ushered in so many developments that catapulted the university as one of the best higher education institutions in the country today.

Get to know Mayor Jonas Cabungcal Cortes, an active and well-grounded public servant who hails from Mandaue City. He is a product of the then Visayas State College of Agriculture (ViSCA), now Visayas State University, and completed a degree in Animal Science major in Animal Production in 1987.
